Members of the Hays Bass Anglers Association helped make more than 300 concrete anchors on 2-18-12 for a habitat project at Sheridan State Fishing Lake located east of Hoxie. The anchors were made by the club to help fisheries biologists for the Kansas Department of WIldlife Parks & Tourism sink cedar trees for to improve the fisheries habitat at the lake.
