HBAA Team Series Completes Fifth Event at Milford


Milford Reservoir, KS (June 13, 2026) — Hays Bass Anglers Association’s Team Trail Series has completed their fifth event on Saturday, June 13th at Milford Reservoir. The team of Brandon Hayzlett and DJ Henderson took first with a five fish limit weighing 14.62 pounds and claiming big bass with a weight of 4.05 pounds. This was the fifth of six events in HBAA’s Team Series for 2026. The sixth and final event in the series will be held on July 11, 2026 at Lake Wilson. For a recap of the series: Mitch Keeley and Jason Leiker finished on top of the field to take tournament #4 on May 3rd at Lake Wilson with a five fish bag tipping the scales at 15.12 pounds. Mitch Keeley and his father, Bill, took Team trail Series #3 on May 2nd at Lake Wilson with a bag weighing 20.16 pounds including big fish of the event weighing 5.87 pounds. HBAA’s tournaments #1 & #2 were held on April, 18-19, on Cedar Bluff Reservoir. In Tournament #1, the team of Jason Leiker and Mitch Keeley weighed in the heaviest bag, tipping the scales at 17.13 pounds. In HBAA’s Team Series # 2. The team of Klint VonFeldt and Chris Unruh weighed in the biggest bag on day with five fish weighing 12.04 pounds. The team of Keith Harmoney and Clayton Rudman weighed in the biggest largemouth bass of the weekend at 6.46 pounds. Marine Specialty, the weekend sponsor, contributed additional sponsorship money for the team with the biggest two-day bag limit, which was won by the team of Keeley and Leiker. HBAA’s Team Series for 2026 features six tournaments on three Kansas reservoirs with a championship tournament scheduled for Oct. 3rd at a lake to be determined later.
