HBAA Announces 2026 Team Trail Dates

Dec. 18, 2025 — Hays Bass Anglers Association is excited to announce the HBAA Team Trail Series schedule for the 2026 season. HBAA will host its own championship for the series that will be held on Oct. 3, 2026, at a site soon to be determined, but series will not be a qualifying trail for the BASS Team Championship. HBAA’s Team Trail Series dates are as follows:

HBAA’s Team Trail Series #1 & 2 will be held on April 18-19, 2026, at Cedar Bluff Reservoir.

HBAA’s Team Trail Series #3 & 4 will be held May 2-3, 2026, at Lake Wilson.

HBAA’s Team Trail Series #5 will be held on June 13, 2026, at Milford Reservoir.

HBAA’s Team Trail Series #6 will be held on July 11, 2026, at Lake Wilson.

HBAA’s Team Trail Series Championship will be held on Oct. 3, 2026, at a lake to be determined soon.

HBAA Team Trail Series Crowns Champions During Final Event

Aug 10, 2025 – Hays Bass Anglers Association completed their series with the final Team Trail Tournament #6 which was held at Cedar Bluff Reservoir. The teams competed for a four fish limit and some good quality fish were caught. The team of Roe and Roe took first place with a total of 19.74 pounds and also won the high-stakes payout. The team of VonFeldt and Unruh took second place with a total of 18.57 pounds and won big bass of the event with a fish weighing 6.38 pounds. HBAA crowned the 2025 team trail champions, the team of Klint VonFeldt and Chris Unruh, during the final event of the series. HBAA want to thank all the teams that participated in our 2025 team trail.
